Game Relocation Services
A specialised game capture and relocation service that may be called upon by each park.
The natural order would be balanced by climate cycles, migratory patterns, predator-prey ratios and survival of the fittest. However in some instances this balancing act is skewed and/or prevented due to human made interferences. Relocating game is an alternative to culling, in order to manage numbers of animals in restricted areas due to these human factors.
Relocating game is also a necessary process in restocking areas that have been depleted by human interference. It is also an important way of ensuring genetic diversity for, in particular threatened species.
The less fences there are and the broader the footprint of the South African private parks protecting naturally wild open spaces, the less the requirement for game relocation will be.
